Maintenance & Care General Maintenance of Bathroom Products After each use and especially when using bath salts or other similar products, clean the bathtub with fresh water and a clean non abrasive cloth. Doing this should help avoid the build up of lime scale. Avoid using acid or methanol based cleaning products as this may potentially effect the condition and lifetime of the bath. Avoid using a rough/abrasive cloth, particularly on the chrome overflow or waste. Replace worn washers on dripping taps to prevent surface marking.   Maintenance of Copper & Brass Products Naturally, copper metal is corrosion resistant hence copper bathtubs never rust.
